The Debts Recovery Tribunal (Procedure) Rules, 1993, popularly known as DRT Rules has to be read along with the Recovery of Debts Due to Banks and Financial Institutions Act, 1993. The Debts Recovery Tribunal (Procedure) Rules, 1993, does not speak specifically any thing about auction procedures. However the Recovery Officer of the Debts Recovery Tribunal is bound by the various provisions, particularly Rule 18 of the Rules.
